What if:
- Individual people and groups would stop claiming that only they are the keepers of the light/knowledge/truth and in effect would start to accept all others
- The average person in the industrialized nations would come to realize that his way of life is not representative for what is a reality for the overwhelming majority of people living on the planet
- Every person on the planet would take responsibility for his actions
- Every person on the planet would see his life and his reality in the context of ever greater awareness encompassing not only his immediate surroundings but crucially the whole web of creation – starting 14.1 billion years ago in a singular event giving rise to reality which in turn gave rise to life which in turn gave rise to consciousness which started to transform the natural environment it found itself born into leading to the present day situation we are confronted with
- Every person on the planet could be aware of the inconceivability and improbability of his existence and the reality incorporating it
- Every person on the planet would come to accept the only certainty of life: His own mortality
- The Western Civilization would come to realize the pointlessness of materialism in a transitional reality
- Every person on the planet could accept himself
- The Western Civilization were guided by a spiritual belief system addressing the existentialistic problems of life (origin, meaning, way of conduct) giving it more meaning than just the current paradigm: make money to spend money
- A collective level of intelligence would register the growing warning signals indicating the end of the road for the further course of civilization and start to take actions
- People would stop mindlessly and uncritically following the flow of the mass
- People would stop and ask "why?", "what for?" once in a while
- People could come to recognize the essence (or consciousness) residing in others as having the same nature and origin as ones own
- People would realize that the state of affairs could be infinitely better and grasp the extent of the divide separating us from an ideal society
-
There is more to life than what our senses can perceive, our minds can fathom and our technology can measure (this will be a reoccurring theme on this site)
- Consciousness is a form of energy and hence conserved, i.e. indestructible
- There is meaning in every occurrence and there are no accidents and hence everything happening, i.e. manifesting itself out of the infinite pool of possibilities, is perfection
YES, WHAT IF...
